Since the creation of the yard, all our yachts have been designed by the Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design studio based in La Rochelle. This ‘long-distance’ collaboration has thus enabled a solid partnership to be developed based on trust, the sole guarantee of great rigour in the design of our boats.
Performance, elegance and safety have always been at the heart of our concept in the drawing up of the specifications of each of our boats.
- With great waterline length, a balanced hull, profiled Naca appendages (centreboard and keel fin, twin rudders), generous sail plan (Hydranet sails) and high quality deck fittings, everything has been brought into play in order to cross the oceans at high average speeds. - A rounded, fluid sheer line, an expressive, reassuring roof, dynamic bow and clean hull lines underline the design of our boats. At Alliage we’ve always thought that each owner should be proud of his or her boat. - The aluminium construction imparts exceptional stiffness in our boats as well as a great capacity to withstand impact. The variable draft (pivoting centreboard or lifting keel) enables them to access the safest anchorages.
For the interior design of some of our boats, we call upon the CHD design firm (Couedel Hugon Design). We consider that the layout and the decoration of an ocean-going vessel should resemble those of a terrestrial residence, in view of the long periods spent aboard. In this way, we favour gloss bulkheads and inner planking, solid wood and sheet veneer, as well as large cabins with numerous stowage options.
Finally, the long range Valparaiso motor launches are designed by Patrice Laurent, a specialist in working craft such as tug boats, trawlers and rescue launches.
