Created in 1995, the Alliage yard set up business on the shores of the Seine, 70 km downstream of Paris.
Their first centreboard yacht, the Alliage 38 was built back in 1996. Exhibited at the Grand Pavois boat show in La Rochelle, the boat came second in the Yacht of the Year award organised by the French Voile Magazine. The jury was already highlighting the remarkable build quality.
The range expanded very quickly. The Alliage 41, 44 and 50 appeared progressively.
In order to face up to its development and provide the optimal trial conditions and handover for its boats, the yard was relocated to the seaside in Plœmeur, near Lorient in 2003.
The premises, with a surface area of 2,000 m2, combine sheet metal and joinery workshops, sandblasting and painting cubicles and a research department.
In 2006, in order to respond to the expectations of a customer keen to sail on high performance ocean-going vessels, the Azzuro range with a lifting keel, was launched. Three models are offered: 47, 53 and 59.
For their part, the Alliage centreboard yachts from the first generation have been progressively replaced by larger and more powerful boats: the Alliage 45, 49, 53, 57 and 61.
The eight models offered today, all with a panoramic roof and deck saloon, thus benefit from a significant development and investment spanning nearly fifteen years.
In 2008, a ‘large yachts’ section was created. It is destined for the construction of ocean-going vessels measuring between 62 and 70’ long. The first Azzuro 65 has been marketed.
